Brief: Project to update multiple applications to latest Lavavel and containerize them for use on AWS

Issue: Miami University had multiple applications that did not have active development over several years. For security purposes these applicatons needed to be updated to the latest version of Laravel. There was a separate iniative to containerize all of the universities web applications in order to move them to AWS. This effort was added to the upgrade project.

Solution: Communicate with product owners and update the Larvel applications to the latest version of Laravel. Make configuration and code changes to facilitate containerization.

Used Laravel Shift to automate most of the Laravel updates
Resolved composer conflicts after Laravel update
Worked with product owners to communicate and test changes
