Employer: Homee on Demand

Brief: Monolithic API in support of two mobile applications

Issue: Homee on Demand was an mobile application that allowed for on demand home repair/upkeep. It was like Uber, but for plumbers, carpenters and handymen. There was both a public/client mobile application for people looking for home professionals and a separate application for the professional to use. Both applications utilized a REST API for interacting with each other and a database. The API was built with PHP. Active development was done to add and improve features to both applications. This API was eventually replaced by a Node.js based API.
